September 21, 1942 --- March 4, 1986

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th, Clear Lake, for Mrs. Ron (Grace R.) Monson, 43, of rural Clear Lake, who died Tuesday (March 4, 1986) at Atlanta, Ga. The Rev. Keith Tomlinson will officiate and burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake.

Mrs. Monson was born Sept. 21, 1942 in rural Klemme to Reno and Ione (Tanner) Harms. She attended Garner schools and married Ronald D. Monson at Clear Lake. Mrs. Monson had lived in Clear Lake for 25 years and had been employed at Sperry Univac, Clear Lake, for the past two years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ron, Clear Lake; two daughters, Julie and Brenda Monson, both of Clear Lake; three sons, Kevin, David and Bobby, all of Clear Lake; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reno Harms, Garner; two sisters, Frances Benish, Garner, and June Harms, Waseca, Minn.; and six brothers, Ernie and Harley Harms, both of Garner; Howard Harms, Britt; George Harms, Woodward; Duane Harms, Scarville, and August Harms, Carl Junction, Mo.
