C. Ray Vulgamott, 75, of Webster City, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Revs. Mike Kroona and Tony Ede officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Clifford Ray Vulgamott, son of Samuel and Verna Davis Vulgamott, was born August 30, 1934 at Stanhope. He graduated from Williams high school. On April 11, 1959, he married Eleanor Mae Carlson at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at Leland, IA. He had been employed at Naden Industries for 44 years.
Ray is survived by his wife, Eleanor; daughter, Shari Vulgamott of Webster City; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Patricia Vulgamott of Coralville; grandchildren, Erin Brown, Niki and John Baxter and Hali Vulgamott; great-grandson, Hayden Ray Baxter; brother and sister-in-law; Neal and Patti Vulgamott of Princeton, MO; sisters, Norma Bailey of Webster City; Nola Raner of Duncombe; sister-in-law, Evelyn Vulgamott of Ames; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vern and Gene Vulgamott and sister, Shirley Forrester Burton. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
