February 17, 1898 --- January 18, 1992

BLACKFOOT - Phyllis Roseborough, 93, of Blackfoot, died Jan. 18, 1992, at Bingham County Nursing home of causes incident to age. She was born Feb. 17, 1898, at Goldfield City, Iowa, to Francis T. "Frank" and Rose Smith Clow. She came to Idaho when she was a child, and her family settled near Shelley. She attended school in the Shelley area. In 1919 she married Burton L. Jones at Shelley. They ranched and farmed in the Wolverine area and lived in the Shelley area during the winter. They were divorced in 1947. In 1948 she married Mick Roseborough. They lived in the Ririe area. He died in 1977. In 1983 she moved to Blackfoot. She worked in a potato processing plant in Idaho Falls until she retired. She enjoyed bowling, flower gar dening and fishing.

Survivors include her children, William R. Jones of Idaho Falls, Burton L. Jones Jr. of Pocatello, and Wayne Jones of Brockton, Mass.; a sister, Louise Jones of Shelley; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grand children; and one great-great-grand child. She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and a granddaughter.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery in Shelley. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from noon to 1:40 p.m. at Naulder Mortuary in Shelley. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Shelley.
