Virginia Beach, VA - Phyllis June Baumgardner, 80, passed away on July 8, 2015. Born in Belmond, IA, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Kriens. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Jerome Baumgardner. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Ann Mattie of Moyock, NC and Vivian Rae McKown of Virginia Beach; son, Michael James Baumgardner and wife Holly of Virginia Beach; sisters, Wilhelmine Vestweber of Belmond, IA and Joann Clark of Belmond, IA; brothers, Kenny Kriens and wife Florence, and Richard Kriens and wife Linda of Ashland, OH; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CHKD, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507.
