Cindy Olson Busick, 53, Eagle Grove, Iowa, formerly of Minot passed away on July 8, 2015, in Eagle Grove.

Cindy was born on July 12, 1961, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Jerold H. and Jean (Greer) Olson. She was raised and attended school in Minot. Cindy was once married to Ronald Shulze, and to this union one daughter Angela was born. She was once married to Craig Saugstad, and to this union a second daughter Crystal was born. Craig also adopted Angela and loved her as his own.

Due to poor health, Cindy was required to stay home and care for her family. She had a beautiful voice and was very proud of her daughter, Crystal’s singing abilities. She was adamant about Crystal singing “The Rose” for her funeral service.

Cindy had a great passion for cats and always had at least two furry friends. They were her babies and she loved to show pictures of them on Facebook. Cindy’s family in Minot and Eagle Grove will miss her, as will her cats, Missey Mow-Mow, Sally and Winston.

Those most honored to share in her life: husband, Sean Busick, Eagle Grove; daughters, Angela (Travis) Griffin, Minot and Crystal (Chad) Bechtold, Minot; granddaughters, Kilee and Elizabeth Griffin; father, Jerry (Carol) Olson, Minot; sister, Deborah Anderson, Minot; half-sister, Julie (Roger) Jackson, Drake, ND; aunt, Judy (Carmen) Helm, Anamoose, ND; step-sister, Debra Maufort, Velva, ND; nieces, Sarah Anderson and Amanda Pine and nephews, Matthew Maufort and John Mortenson. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Shulze and brother-in-law, Brad Busick.

Memorial Service: Friday, July 31, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot with visitation one hour prior. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, North Dakota
