James E. Diestler, 82, of Aurora, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Presence Mercy Medical Center. He was born on June 6, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a teacher at Waubonsee Community College and Moraine Valley Community College for many years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Church, 609 N. Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, IL. Fr. Aurel Pater will officiate with interment at St. Francis Cemetery, Belmond, Iowa. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL. 60506. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Michael Church.
