RIDGEVILLE, SC - Wesley E. Orr, 78, of Ridgeville, widower of Mary Orr, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Nova Church, 4955 Jefferies Blvd., Walterboro. Burial with Full Military Honors will be held at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 am.

Mr. Orr was born April 29, 1937 in Eagle Grove, Iowa, son of the late Enos and Anna Williams Orr. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving for 20 years and 3 tours in Vietnam. He retired as Lieutenant with the Goose Creek Fire Department. He was a member of the American Legion Post 166, a 40 year member of Fleet Reserve. Surviving are two daughters: Madeleine Ingalls (Gerald) of Ridgeville and Katherine Nelson (Ken) of Virginia Beach, Va. 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren 5 great-great-grandchildren.
