Cedar Falls --- Sylvis L. Flett, 88, of Cedar Falls died Friday, May 8, 2015 at Cedar Falls Health Care Center. She was born February 19, 1927 the daughter of Leonard and Lily Edwards in Dows, Iowa. She graduated from Clarion High School in 1945. On May 18, 1947, she married James Flett in Clarion. She worked as a homemaker. Survived by: a daughter, Diana Flett of Cedar Falls, a son Calvin, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: her husband, two sons, Norman and Marvin, two granddaughters, Dawn and Leslie, two sisters, Joyce Spencer and Ruth Tulouse. Funeral Services will be 11 am Wednesday, May 13 at First United Methodist Church, visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls, and also one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family.
