Ronald W. Kee, 89 of Humboldt died March 30, 2011 at the Humboldt Care Center North. Services will be held Monday, April 3, 10:30 AM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmore City with Rev. Jan Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Marble Valley Cemetery, Gilmore City. Visitation is from 3-5 Pm Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home in Gilmore City.

Ronald Walter Kee, the son of Albert and Lilie (Dodd) Kee was born December 19, 1921 in Gilmore City where he was raised and received his education. He was united in marriage with Caroline Meinders October 20, 1946 in Clarion. The couple lived for a while in Gilmore City, moved to California where they lived until moving to Humboldt in 1978. Ronald did construction work and drive truck for John's Aglime Company. Survivors include his wife Caroline of Humboldt, IA, daughter-in-law Jane Kee of Seattle Washington, three grandchildren Anthony, Angela and Andria and two great grandchildren Caroline and Ronnie. Mr. Kee enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 5 sisters and his son Ronald. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Gilmore City American Legion Post.
