Caroline A. Kee, 86, of Humboldt died Friday August 10, 2012 at her home in Humboldt. Sevices will be held Monday, August 13, 1:30 PM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Gilmore City with burial to follow in Marble Valley Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Caroline Meinders, the daughter of Rank and Lotte (Benkeen) Meinders was born March 19, 1926 in Titonka, Iowa. She was united in marriage with Ronald Walter Kee October 20, 1946 in Clarion, Iowa. The couple lived for a while in Gilmore City, moved to California where they resided until returning to Humboldt in 1978. Ronald died March 30, 2011 in Humboldt. Survivors include her daughter-in-law Jane Kee of Black Diamond, Washington, three grandchildren, Anthony, Angela, and Andria and two great grandchildren, Caroline and Ronald, two brothers Adolf (Rose) Meinders of Clarion, Iowa and Walter Meinders of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Ronald.
