Rites incomplete at Britt for Mabel Sheridan

BRITT, IA - Miss Mabel Sheridan, 72, died Saturday at the Belmond Community Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Boughton Funeral Home. Services will be held at St. Patrick's Church with burial in the church cemetery. Born April 12, 1889, south of Britt, she was the daughter of Patrick and Margaret Canty Sheridan. She was graduated from Britt High School and was employed in several stores here and at the Britt Post Office. She belonged to church societies and the Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two brothers, Eugene Sheridan in Oregon; Arthur, Waukon; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Irene) Rounds, Forest City; Mrs. Will (Glyn) Spangler, Britt.
