Mrs. Broderick Dies At Home of Daughter
Body Will Be Taken to Grundy Center for Burial Friday.

Mrs. M. J. Broderick, who has made her home in this city with her daughter, Mrs. John P. German, for the past year passed away at the home last evening following a short illness of pneumonia. Other children who mourn her death are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence O’Connor, of New Hampton, and three sons, W. J., of Grinnell, A. J. of Grundy Center, and C. J. of Allison. The remains will be taken to Grundy Center, her former home, where services will be held Friday at 9 o'clock at the Sacred heart church and she will be laid to rest beside the body of her husband, who preceded her in death five years ago.

Death of Mrs. Broderick

Mrs. M. J. Broderick for many years a resident of Grundy Center, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John German at Webster City, about 9 o’clock Tuesday evening of this week, after suffering but a few days with pneumonia. She was about 70 years of age. Her three sons and two daughters were with her during her last hours. For the past few years Mrs. Broderick has been making her home with her daughters at Clarion and Webster City. The remains will be brought here this afternoon and the funeral will take place from Sacred Heart church at 9 o’clock tomorrow (Friday) morning.
