Curtiss Pederson Funeral Monday

Hardy - Funeral services were at the Trinity Lutheran church at Hardy on Monday for Curtiss Marshall Pederson, 36, who died at his home, five miles southwest of Hardy Saturday. The Rev. David E. Lee officiated at the Lutheran cemetery at Hardy. Military last rites were conducted by American Legion post 587 of Thor. Mr. Pederson a farmer was born at Hardy on Oct. 5, 1926, the son of Harry and Olive S. Ersland Pederson. He married the former Mavis Nerem on Sept. 19, 1947.
A graduate of Renwick high school. Mr. Pederson attended Iowa State University before entering the military service. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mardell, Colette and Suzette; his mother; and one sister, Mrs. Ed Mersh of Hardy.
