IOWA FALLS - Opal Neva Cuppett, 94, of Iowa Falls, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015, at the Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls. Private services were held and she was laid to rest at the Alden Township Cemetery, Alden. The Linn’s Funeral Home in Iowa Falls helped the family with the arrangements. Opal requested that memorials be directed to the Greenbelt Human Society, 1124 Water St., Alden, IA 50006 or the Iowa Falls Fire Department, 218 South River St., P.O. Box 698, Iowa Falls, IA 50126

Opal Neva Cuppet was born March 25, 1920 in Belmond, Iowa to Harold Lewis Smith and Hattie Elita Dippel. She graduated from Alexander High School in 1937. On March 1, 1941, she was united in marriage to Paul David Cuppett at the Methodist Parsonage, in Clarion. During her life she was a supportive homemaker and a retail clerk at Iowa Falls Sewing Machine Shop.
