June 21, 1910 --- February 5, 1991

Harold L. Crandall, 80, of Hampton, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1991, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton, with Bob Brunk, minister of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery at a later date.

He was born June 21, 1910, in Rowan, Iowa, the son of Oscar L. and Sarah Jane (Parks) Crandall. On Sept. 28, 1937, he married Leta Petersen at Canton, S.D. He lived in Clear Lake from 1942 – 1990. Survivors include his wife, Leta; one son, Donald Estep, Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Betty Mordick, Webster City; three brothers, Wilbur and Raymond, both of Hampton, and Fred, of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, and four brothers.
