Mrs. Charlotte E. Hagen, 84, a resident of Harrison's Haven Nursing Home in Nevada died Saturday morning at the Story County Hospital of a stroke. Services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Elder D.E. Howe officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Dows, Iowa.

Born November 27, 1888 to William and Henrietta Trowbridge in Chicago, Illinois, she had lived in Nevada for the past 45 years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by four sons, Burnell Hagen of Nevada, Russell of Cedar Falls, Dean of Oxford and Max of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Mrs. Buss (Corene) Adams of Cedar Rapids; seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and her husband, Clarence who died in 1938.
