Marlene Marie Peterson Kollias, daughter of former Eagle Grove residents, Ludwik and Lena Peterson, passed away on Wednesday, March 4 at Sanford Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She resided in Sioux Falls for the past 7 years. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Marlene was a graduate of the class of 1955 at Eagle Grove, Iowa High School. She was employed by the U.S. Post Office in Kansas City, Missouri and San Bruno, California. She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Erickson of Cheyenne, Wyoming, two nephews and one niece and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Eagle Grove cemetery the 1st part of May. Any correspondence can be sent to Eleanor Erickson, 5864 Kenosha St. Cheyenne, Wyo. 82001. All donations will be given to the Washington Pavilion of Sioux Falls where Marlene was a volunteer.
