Leonard Ray (Lee) was born December 22, 1941, at Two Rivers, Nebraska to his father and mother, Harvey and Ethel (Bishop) Renninger. His family included three other brothers and one sister. Lee graduated from Fremont High School, "Class of 1961". He was a lifetime employee of Campbell Soup, Fremont and N.B.A. Tecumseh, NE. Lee's interest in landscape and flower gardening brought delight and pleasure personally and to neighbors. Also involved in photography, wood carving, jewelry and art, Lee found satisfaction in creating hand-crafted gifts for family and friends. He loved antique colored glass. Lee loved long bike rides, and had a great sense of humor. The past 22 years Lee has resided in Tecumseh, NE. He was faithful in attending Tecumseh Baptist Church where he developed many friendships. He willingly drove many people to Hospital visits and Doctor's appointments over the last many years.

Lee Renninger, age 73, passed away February 25, 2015, at the Clarion Health and Wellness Care Facility in Clarion, IA, where he had been for a very short time following several months with his sister, Jan (Tom) Watne and her husband at Galt, IA, where he had been battling cancer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, as well as his two older brothers, Winfield and Richard, and nephew David.

He will be mourned by his sister, Jan (and Tom Watne), 2814 245th St., Galt, IA 50101; brother Dale (and Pat) of DeLand, FL; and two sisters-in-law, Great of Omaha and Sharon of St. Petersburg, FL; six nephews and six nieces and a multitude of friends and neighbors.

The will be a Memorial Service at 10 AM, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Tecumseh Baptist Church in Nebraska. Interment will be at Hooper, NE cemetery at a later date. Andrews Funeral Home, Belmond, IA.
