WEBSTER CITY -- Dorothy Rinehimer Tallman, 89, of Webster City, Iowa, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at the Hamilton Hospital, Webster City. Graveside services were held Aug. 12 at Graceland Cemetery, with visitation at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Dorothy Mae Heffelmeier, daughter of Henry and Anna Blattspieler Heffelmeier, was born March 27, 1915, in Ackley. She received her education at the Robertson Public School at Robertson. On Sept. 4, 1938, she married George Arnold Rinehimer at Eagle Grove. He died in 1958. On Sept. 5, 1964, she married Myron Marion Tallman. The couple resided at Fort Dodge and she assisted her husband in his auction business. Mr. Tallman died Dec. 15, 1989. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge and First United Methodist Church in Faribault. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Rinehimer of Queen Creek, Ariz.; a brother, Harvey Heffelmeier of Ackley; and several nieces and nephews.
