John Wroblewski, 86, of Marion and a former Jones County resident, died Monday morning, Aug 2, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness. Services were Aug. 5 at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard Kling officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. He is survived by his wife, Leila; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Rowell, Cedar Rapids; two sons, John, Chicago, Ill., and LaVern, Marion; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ben, Monticello; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Nerad, Iowa City. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.
