Area teen killed in one vehicle crash

Jordan M. Leeper, of Woolstock, reportedly lost control of vehicle on White Fox Road Monday night

A Woolstock teenager was killed in a one-vehicle accident Monday night that occurred on White Fox Drive.

Jordan Michael Leeper, 18, of Woolstock, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, Leeper was traveling north on White Fox Road around 9 p.m. when he reportedly lost control of the auto and left the roadway on the right. The 2003 GMC Envoy struck wooden posts along the road causing the vehicle to roll over as it dropped down an 18-foot embankment. Leeper was the only occupant of the vehicle, according to reports. The accident occurred near the intersection with Jane Young Road. Webster City Police and Fire Departments, Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and the Van Diest Medical Center EMS Department assisted the Iowa State Patrol.

Leeper was a student at Webster City High School. High school co-principal Becky Hacker-Kluver said grief counselors and pastors were on hand to meet with high school students. Grief counselors were also made available to students at the middle school and Sunset Heights Elementary school.
