DEATH CLAIMS MRS. RISINGER

Mrs. Emma LaBarr Risinger, longtime resident of Fairfield, died yesterday morning at the Jefferson county hospital where she had been a patient since Nov. 5. She was 89. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. S. P. Williamson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Risinger was a member of the First Christian church. She had been a resident of the city for 44 years.. She was born April 14, 1863, in Indiana, the daughter of Samuel and Christina Reese Wade. She was married to Phillip G. LaBarr of Webster City in 1880. He preceded her in death in 1918 and she was married to Avery Risinger in 1919. Mrs. Risinger has 70 direct descendants, including four children, 17 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. The surviving children are Ralph E. LaBarr, Galt, Ia.; Harry A LaBarr, Clarion; Phillip L. LaBarr, Woodburn, Ore.; and Clair W. LaBarr, Charlotte, Ia. Two children, three brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.
