Services were held Oct. 12 at the United Methodist Church in Meservey for John Bruce Axelsen of Thornton, who died Oct. 10, the victim of an automobile accident. Rev. John Rosenberger presided and the Rev. Kent Wagner of Clear Lake assisted. Surviving are: his wife, Alana; a daughter, Chasidy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Axelsen of Clear Lake; a sister, Dawn Avery of Goodell; four brothers, Charles Conroy, Arkansas; James Conroy, Clear Lake; Tom Axelsen, Thornton; Rick Axelsen, Clear Lake; and his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Savage, Clear Lake. Pallbearers were Mike Roths, Arnold Shaw, Dean Lauen, Donnie Jensen, Robert Jones and Mike Jensen. Flower ladies were Mrs. Dale Fischer and Mrs. G. W. Koehler. Organist was Mrs. Richard Halfpap and Mrs. John Rosenberger was vocalist. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Thornton. Grarup Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
