Mrs. Hannah Bradley was born June 29, 1870 the daughter of Louis and Mathilda Orres at Orris, Norway, She came to Humboldt County at the age of 11. On June 6, 1894, she was united in marriage to Edwin O. Bradley at Thor, Iowa. Mr. Bradley was a Humboldt Merchant for over 50 years. He preceded her in death in 1945. Mrs. Bradley passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bernice B. Smith on Wednesday morning, December 22 attaining the age of 95 years, 5 months, and 24 days. She was active in the Congregational Church and until the time of her death, held the longest membership. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Bernice B. Smith of Humboldt and by three sons: Orres of Downers Grove, Illinois, Evnor of Humboldt, Iowa, and Eugene of Williamsville, New York; by six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. N. E. Wogeh of Albert Lea, Minn., and Mrs. John Evenson of Hector, Minn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bradley were held Friday, December 24 at the Congregational Church at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Francis Burr officiated with burial in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. Organist was John W. Bradley, soloist was Mrs. Werner B. Tigges. Ushers were Gilbert P. Ruse and Fred H. Fredericksen. Casket bearers were Brant H. Amile, John Edwards, George M. Engquist, Henry Christensen, Otis Nelson and Harry Spohn. The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
