Russell (Rusty) L. Wood, age 55, of Annandale, [Minnesota] passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. A Celebration honoring his life was held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Rusty is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Mary Wood and grandparents. Rusty is survived by his life partner, Lisa Valiant of Annandale, MN., Jim Valiant of Big Lake, MN.; sisters, Cheryl Wolff (Roger Thompson) of Clearwater, MN., Mary (Chuck) Prososki of Le Center, MN., Lynn (Ken) Klingsporn of Mankato, MN; Brothers; Arlie (Luanne) Wood of Deland, FL., Steve (Karen) Wood of Rice, MN., Kin (Gina) Wood of Maplewood, MN. and David (Connie) Wood of Moorhead, MN.; sons, Russell Wood (Hannah Cooney) of Middleburg Heights, Ohio and David Wood of Montgomery, MN.; granddaughter, Mariah Wood of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and beloved cats, Salem, Cheyenne, Sam and Jack.

Rusty was born in Belmond, Iowa on August 2, 1959 and graduated from Le Center High School in 1978. Rusty was a life-long over the road truck driver. Rusty enjoyed gardening, woodworking, carpentry, blowing snow, NASCAR and the outdoors. Honorary Pallbearers were Mike Miller, Chip Prososki, Adam Wood, Chase Wood, Jake Klingsporn, Cooper Wood, Parker Wood and Tyler Miller.
