PETER LUCHSINGER DIED IN HOSPITAL

RENWICK, Iowa — Peter Luchsinger, 54 years old, who lived most of his life in the vicinity of Renwick, died Tuesday, March 12, at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines. He had been sick the past year and was taken to the hospital for treatment, three weeks ago. Death was caused by cancer. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 15th, in the Evangelical church at Renwick, with the Rev. Sohl, pastor of that church, in charge. Interment will be In Vernon cemetery.

Mr. Luchsinger was born in Columbus, Nebraska. He resided for many years at Renwick but during the past two or three years he has been farming near Bode. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Wills of Wenatchee, Washington, and Mrs. Dorothy Gangstead of Ames. Four brothers and three sisters also survive him, Martin who lives in the west, Fred of St. Paul, John of Armour, South Dakota, Henry of Renwick, Mrs. Catherine Wenth of Marshalltown, Mrs. Rose Scheuth of Ideath, South Dakota, and Mrs. Anna Krise of Renwick.
