February 3, 1896 --- December 3, 1975

Chester R. Crow, 79, of Humboldt was dead on arrival at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Wednesday afternoon. He had been in ill health for some time. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Lindhart Funeral Home with burial in Union Cemetery, Livermore. Surviving is the widow, Lottie.

Mr. Crow was born in Shelby County and educated at Walnut. In 1918, he married Lottie Dean at Atlantic. He was a watch maker and he and his wife had lived at Eldora, Davenport, and Eagle Grove before he started farming at Livermore. The couple moved to Humboldt in 1967. Mr. Crow was a member of Humboldt Masonic Lodge. Dr. Ralph Kitterman will officiate at last rites. Casket bearers will be Ronald Zeimet, Daryl Frederick, Richard Dunphy, Richard Noonan, Lawrence Fuhrmann, and Harold Roethler.

Livermore — Funeral services for Chester (Chet) Crow, 79, of Humboldt, were held at the Lindhart Funeral Home Dec. 6 with burial in the Union Cemetery at Livermore. Mr. Crow was born in Shelby County and educated at Walnut. In 1918 he was married to Lottie Dean at Atlantic. She survives him. He was a watchmaker and they had lived at Eldora, Davenport, and Eagle Grove before moving to the farm north of town now owned by Ron Zeimet. They left the farm place and moved to Humboldt in 1967. Mr. Crow died very suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Humboldt Wednesday.
