October 4, 1888 ---- September 27, 1943

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, September 29, in the Methodist church in Livermore for Harry Notestine, 55, of Livermore. Burial was in the Livermore cemetery. Mr. Notestine passed away at his home in Livermore Monday, September 27. He had been in failing health for a number of years and for that reason was forced to give up farming a few years ago. Mr. Notestine and his family resided on a farm northwest of Renwick prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Carl Groh.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, September 28 for Harry Notestine, 55, of Llvermore who passed away Monday, September 27, at the Methodist church in Livermore. Rev. Phillips was in charge and burial was made in the Union cemetery west of Livermore.

Harry Notestine was born October 3, 1888 in Hardy, Iowa and grew to manhood there. In January of 1914 he was married to Nina Clark of Livermore at the home of her sister in Minnesota. Two children were born to this union, a son, Archie, who died in infancy, and a daughter Marjorie, Mrs Carl Groh. After their marriage they lived at Bradgate for 4 years when they then moved to a farm near Livermore. They later moved to a farm near Hardy where they lived for nineteen years. In 1938 the family moved to Livermore. Failing health caused Mr. Notestine to retire from farming several years ago.
