April 25, 1864 --- November 30, 1912

Harriet Elizabeth Nowlin was born at Mt Vernon, Linn county April 25, 1864 and died at Algona hospital Nov. 30, 1912. She was joined in marriage to J. E. Wood at Renwick, Iowa, Feb. 11, 1882. To this union was born six children: four daughters and two sons. The oldest daughter having departed this life three years ago. Mrs. Wood united with the M. E. church at Hardy, Iowa, in 1887 and remained an active member of that church until one year ago when she was baptized into the Baptist church at Renwick. She leaves to mourn her absence a husband, three daughters, two sons, father, seven sisters, five brothers, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held from her late residence in Humboldt, Iowa conducted by Rev. B. F. Galloway of Bradgate. Interment in Humboldt cemetery.
