Dale Cecil Birch, 83, of Des Plaines, Illinois, formerly of Ingraham, passed away at 1:30 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2008 at Hill Top Manor in Charleston, IL. He was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, the son of Cecil and Latha Rude Birch. He married Helen Burnett Birch January 16, 1942. She preceded him in death May 19, 1995. Mr. Birch worked for Greyhound Bus Lines for 30 years in Phoenix, AZ. He was a member of Ingraham Christian Church. He also served in World War II. Survivors are a son Alan Dale, a brother, Robert Dean, one grandson and one great granddaughter. Burial was in Mt Emblem Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
