October 1, 1874 -- January 11, 1947

Nicholas J. Fecht, aged about 72, died at his home in Clarion Saturday, Jan. 11, 1947. Funeral services were held there Tuesday morning at St. John’s Catholic church, Rev. L. L. Logan officiating. He is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter, one sister, Mrs. Francis Narvey of Seattle, Wash., and two brothers, Earl of Houston, Texas, and Edward of Fort Dodge. The Fecht family resided at Pomeroy many years ago, and will be remembered by a number of the older residents here.
