Mrs. Pete Ziegler. One of the saddest deaths that has taken place in Belmond for some time with the passing of Katherine Ziegler, wife of Peter Ziegler, who died at her home in west Belmond last Thursday, February 5th, aged thirty three years and six months. Death resulted from pneumonia. Funeral services were held at the house, Saturday morning, February 7th, in charge of Father Eardley, interment being in St. Francis Cemetery. Mrs. Ziegler leaves a husband and six children, most of the children being quite young. Death is always sad, but it seems doubly so when it takes from a family of small children, their mother. The sympathy of the community for the bereaved family is especially keen.
