19 January 1891 --- 12 October 1918

Fred Alfred Houser, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Houser of this city, died at his home in Eagle Grove Saturday Oct. 12, after a short illness from influenza and pneumonia. He formerly lived here, but for the past few years has been at Eagle Grove employed as a boiler maker. The body was sent back here and the funeral was held near his old home at Mt. Ararat and burial at Mt. Ararat Cemetery.
