July 12, 1872 --- February 19, 1897

Last Sunday at three o'clock, the funeral services of Mrs. Albert Waddell were held in the Congregational church, Rev. Douglas, officiating. Mrs. Waddell, whose maiden name was Ida M. Foster was born in Toledo, Iowa, July 12, 1872 and died at this place Feb. 19th. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn her loss. This death fell upon our community like a pall, for the deceased was widely known and loved. About five weeks ago a babe was born to this young couple but before its tiny eyes had seen the bright sunlight the hand which gave took it away, and the poor mother was left on a bed of pain, from which she never recovered. The family has the sincere sympathy of everybody in its bereavement.
