Fall Creek Man Passes Saturday

Lem Beisell died at his home at Fall Creek, Oregon on Saturday, October 28, 1944. He was born February 10, 1865 in Wayne county, Ohio and came to Marcola in 1907, three years later moving to Fall Creek. He married Sarah Jane Dean at Goldfield, Iowa in 1886. She died a few years ago. He is survived by the following children; Will of Santa Barbara, California; Ray of Marcola; Guy of Eugene; Mrs. Cora Vaughn of Fall Creek; Mrs. Myrtle Shank of Springfield; seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Marcola Church of Christ, with the Rev. C. T. Leavitt, officiating. Interment was in the Marcola cemetery. The Poole-Larsen funeral chapel was in charge.

FALL CREEK--Lem Beisell, 79, of Fall Creek died at his home Saturday. He was born Feb. 10, 1865, in Wayne county, Ohio and was married to Sarah Jane Dean at Goldfield, Iowa, in 1886. They came to Marcola in 1907 and moved to Fall Creek three years ago. Mrs. Beisell died several years ago. He is survived by three sons, Will Beisell, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Guy, of Eugene, and Ray of Marcola; two daughters, Mrs. Cora Vaughn of Fall Creek and Mrs. Myrtle Shank of Springfield; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced through the Poole-Larson mortuary.
