Box 39, Belmond, IA 50421.

Jesse Daniel Froehlich, the son of Steve and Judy (Hefty) Froehlich, was born July 30, 1981, at Algona, IA. As child he moved with his family to Winterset, IA, where he was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Winterset. He attended school through the 6th grade in the Winterset Public Schools. The family eventually moved to Belmond, IA, where he attended 7th-12th grades in the Belmond-Klemme Schools, graduating from Belmond-Klemme High School with the Class of 2000.

During his early years, Jesse was active in the scouting programs. He was also active in various extra-curricular activities including Football and Track. He was an excellent dancer and loved to sing. He shared these gifts by participating in the school choirs and music programs including the Show Choir and New Group. Jesse truly was a free spirit in much of his life's ambitions. He loved to ride motorcycles, especially his Harley, and enjoyed the exhilaration feeling of gliding on two wheels on his life journeys. He also was fond of his Chevy Nova. Jesse loved the outdoors and had done some pheasant hunting over the years.

A favorite past time was taking his children fishing, most times it wasn't the catch of the day that mattered, rather it was the special occasions of spending time with his kids. Both Jesse and his kids mutually looked forward to story time as Jesse would read stories to each of them. His most precious focus in life was sharing in the lives of his children, ages two weeks through eight years old. He cherished anything that included them. He had also enjoyed family vacations over the years with his folks and brother. Jesse was very much a people person who loved being with both friends and family.

His adventuresome side led him to a time of employment with "Easyrider" entertainment and events along with his brother Jake, helping to orchestrate motorcycle shows and bike rodeos. He loved to work in the hospitality industry and had been a bartender for Eli's on the River and The Corner Bar and Restaurant in Belmond. He had also owned and operated "Big Papa's" in Stanhope, IA, for a few years. Jesse was employed with Winnebago Industries for a time.

Those who knew Jesse will miss his warm smile, great sense of humor and his love for life. His children will rely on the stories of his family and friends to keep his memory alive as they grow in the years ahead. Jesse's memory will continue in the hearts and minds of his parents, Steve and Judy Froehlich, Belmond, IA; brother, Jake Froehlich, Story City, IA; grandma, Laurine Hefty, LuVerne, IA; his son Dravyn Spencer, age 8 and Dravyn's mother, Paige Spencer, Story City, IA; daughter, Haidyn Mewes-Froehlich, age 6, daughter, Teagan Mewes-Froehlich, age 4, and Tate Mewes-Froehlich, age 1 and their mother Nicole Mewes, all of Belmond; son, Daemean Wenzel-Froehlich, age 7, and newborn son Jeremy Wenzel-Froehlich, and their mother, Victoria Wenzel all of Belmond; also surviving are his uncle, Terry Froehlich, Algona, IA, Aunt, Terry Lynn Sigmund, Lenexa, KS, Uncle, Don (Polly) Froehlich, White Bear Lake, MN, uncle, Dale Jergensen, Gretna, NE, and aunt, Paula Hoopingarner, Humboldt, IA; and cousins, Kelly (Jeff) Hill, Shawnee, KS, and Amanda (Jerry) Rowan, of Kansas City, MO, Chris (Janet) Sullivan, Lehigh, IA, Amy (Ben) Hertle, White Bear Lake, MN, Julie Froehlich and fiancé, Sean Crompton, White Bear Lake, MN, and Sara Froehlich, White Bear Lake, MN; along with countless friends.
