MRS. RUDISILL (ODLAND) DIES DECEMBER 22

Mrs. Lillian Enge Odland Rudisill Dies In Belmond Hospital Following Two Year Illness

Mrs. Lillian Odland Rudisill, 60, died December 22 in the Belmond hospital following a lingering illness. Mrs. Rudisill had resided in Eagle Grove for many years. While in Eagle Grove she resided for many years in the home on East Broadway now occupied by the Gust West family. She also resided for some time with Mrs. Susan Horton on West Broadway. In 1948 she was united in marriage with Lloyd M. Rudisill in Clarion. She spent much of the last two years in hospitals for treatment of her illness. A wealthy woman she distinguished herself in later years for substantial gifts to charity. Her favorite charity was a Lutheran orphans home in Ames. Surviving are her husband, three brothers and one sister. Mr. and Mrs. Odland (her first husband) had five children all of whom with her first husband preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday, December 26 in the Wilson Chapel with Rev H. C Bakken officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
