Verna Headrick, age 84, of Sioux Falls, died Friday, June 6, 2014. The family will greet friends from 1:00-4:00 pm Sunday June 8 at Miller Funeral Home, 13th & Main Avenue. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday at First Lutheran Church, with burial to follow at Hills of Rest Memorial Park. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughters, Georgia (Jim) Tirrel, Jill (Peter) Lerdal, "Lucy" Jane (Calvin) Welbig, all of Sioux Falls, Joan (Greg Steele) Headrick, Granite, IA, and Jennifer (Cal) Morse, Aurelia, IA; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Cora Spangler, Eagle Grove, IA and Opal Neese of MO; and a brother, Roger Burras, Clarion, IA. Her parents, infant daughter Cynthia, husband "Bud," brothers, Stanley, Irving, Raymond and Carroll, and sister, Arlene, preceded her in death.
