Mrs. Clyde Sims funeral Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Clyde Sims, 80, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church, in charge of the pastor, Rev.
Donald Forbes. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Sims died Monday morning at the Rotary Ann Home where she had been a patient for several years. She is survived by her husband, one son, Dr. Paul Sims of Clarion, one daughter, Mrs. Murray Coleman of Dallas, Tex., four grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren. Other survivors are one sister, Mrs. James McCart of this city, and one brother, George Marley of Tucson, Ariz. Mrs. Sims, the former Ethel Marley, was born in Indian Springs, Ind. and was married to Clyde Sims in 1908. They lived in Indiana before moving to a farm in 1912 in Troy Township. In 1958 they retired from the farm and moved to their home at 222 South Iowa Ave. She was a long time member of the Troy Culture Club.
