Woolstock Man Succumbs Friday

Woolstock -- George Gideon Kastler, son of Louis and Louise Kastler, was born April 2, 1879, near Woolstock. He spent his boyhood in this community and, after farming until 1908, moved into Woolstock with his mother, brother, and sister, where he has since resided. After a lingering illness, he passed away Friday morning, Nov. 14, at the Hamilton County hospital in Webster City. He was preceded in death by his parents and on sister, Mrs. Joseph Loux of Eagle Grove. Surviving him are one brother, Charles, two sisters, Elizabeth and Mrs. Joseph Mourlam, all of Woolstock. Following services in the Kastler funeral home, interment was held at the French cemetery east of Woolstock.
