Since that time she lived in Eagle Grove until about 2 years ago when her health failed. She then went to make her home with her son Andrew and family of Burchinal.

Early in January she went to visit a few days with her daughter, Mary and became ill and she was taken to the Convalescence Home in Eagle Grove where she passed away 12 days later.

Mary, Joe and Ida were at her bedside when the end came.

Special mention should be given Mrs. Andrew Wernet for her care and kindness she has given our mother.

She gave her heart to God early in life and had been a faithful follower all her years.

She will be greatly missed by a wide circle of relatives and friends.
