MRS. MATTIE DAVIS DIES IN FT. DODGE, SERVICES TUESDAY

Mrs. Mattie Davis, 59, died at her home in Fort Dodge last Friday following a long illness. She was a longtime resident of Humboldt having moved to Fort Dodge about six years ago. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at St. Olaf Lutheran church in Fort Dodge with Rev. E. S. Ede officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn cemetery in Fort Dodge, The Lindhart Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Surviving Mrs. Davis are three sons, Wayne of Eagle Grove, Valley of Belmond and Richard of Humboldt; three daughters, Mrs. Fae Werling of Badger, Mrs. Virginia Leist of Rowan and Mrs. Gladys Prehm of Fort Dodge; a sister, Mrs. Hans Anderson of Felton, Minn.; a cousin, Mrs. Jesse Taylor Fort Dodge; also fourteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven, an infant daughter, her parents and two sisters.
