Funeral services were held for Mrs. Ida Comstock, 72, at the Methodist church at 12:30 p.m., Friday, the Rev. Mr. David G. MacDougall officiating. The body was taken to Hawarden, and placed beside her husband. Mrs. Comstock had been a patient at St. Anthony's hospital at Carroll for the past 10 days and died Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock due to complications through advanced age. She had been a resident of Manilla the past four years and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. C. L. Younie. Mrs. Comstock was a former resident of Hawarden and Eagle Grove where her late husband served as a railroad engineer. She is survived by three daughters and three sons; Mrs. C. L. Younie of Manilla, Mrs. H. J. Osterbay of Del Rapids, S.D., Mrs. Marlin Harris and Theodore Comstock both of Van Nuys, Calif.; L.L. and E. B. Comstock of Sioux City.
