Russell E. Sorrell Dies in Maywood, Ill.

EAGLE GROVE — Russell E. Sorrell, 83, pensioned employee of the Chicago and North Western Railway, died Thursday at the home of Mrs. Lillian Irish, in Maywood, Ill., where he had made his home for past five years. Funeral services were held at the Kubitschek and Kastler funeral parlors Saturday, in charge of the Rev. L. M. Wilkinson of the Congregational church, and burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery, Eagle Grove. Mr. Sorrell was a widower, his wife having died in 1933. He is survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lillian Irish, Maywood, Ill., and Mrs. Clara Huston in Eagle Grove, and a stepson, Elmer Mason, in Sioux City. He was born in Wisconsin; had lived in Eagle Grove for more than 50 years, and five years in Maywood, Ill.
