George Watt Dies at 81; Rites Tuesday

DOWS — Funeral services for .George Herbert Watt, 81, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church here1. The Rev. William Miles will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Erickson Funeral Home is in charge. Born Nov. 22, 1877, at Marshalltown, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Watt. He died Saturday at the Lutheran Hospital, Hampton, following a long illness. Surviving are a son, Robert, Dows: two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Granau, Hampton; Mrs. Francis (Mabel) Ackerman, Dows; two brothers, Elmer, Marshalltown and Pearl, Park Rapids, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Martha Armold, Palo Alto, Calif.: seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.
