Ronald Maurice Trickel, 73, of Ozark, MO passed away February 3, 2008, at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, [Missouri]. Mr. Trickel was born December 1, 1934, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He had lived in Ozark the past 24 years. He was a retired truck driver and electrician. Ron attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Nixa. He married Karen J. Erickson on July 23, 1955, in Algona, Iowa. She survives. Additional survivors include four children, Catherine Mesicek-Arnold of Monett, Ronnie Trickel of Sparta, Cindy McKinney and husband, Jim, of Nixa, and Tara Fender, Springfield; eight grandchildren, David II and Sarah Mesicek, Jacob and Savannah McKinney, Joshua and Justin Fender, and Matthew Trickel; six great-grandchildren, Christopher and Emily Mesicek, Keishay and Ginnia Mesicek, and Skyler and Adalyn Mesicek; mother-in-law Elizabeth Erickson, Algona, Iowa; and two brothers, Arnold Trickel of Wichita, Kan., and Wesley Trickel of Harcourt, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Fern Trickel; brother Duane Trickel; his son, Wade Trickel, on February 15, 1980; and his grandson, Adam Mesicek, on December 5, 2007. Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 2 p.m. at The Kingdom of Jehovah Witness, Nixa, Mo. Memorials and flowers may be left at The Kingdom Hall, Nixa. Ronald's ashes will be laid to rest at the later date in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
