Stanley Meyer Kluver, 61, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Fla., after an extended illness. He was born May 4, 1944, in Eldora, son of Kathleen and Harold Kluver. Mr. Kluver attended school in Waterloo and Iowa City. He worked as computer programmer in Fort Lauderdale. He also served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. Survivors include his children, Stephanie, David and Kim, and a grandson, Stefan, all of Fort Lauderdale; his mother, Kathleen Kluver; and sister, Susan Harty (Steve) of Waterloo. Preceded in death by his father, Harold T. Kluver. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church of Waterloo.
