Memorial Services for Karen Draves, 56, of Eagle Grove will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the chapel of the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.

Karen Draves was born in Webster City, Iowa, lived in Eagle Grove, Iowa and passed on January 13th, 2014 after a sudden illness. Karen is survived by her children, Daniel, Tina, Darrell, David, Lisa, Tonya, and her step-son Cory. 12 Grandchildren, her father, Clair Wepel, sister, Connie, brother, Bill and many, many other family and friends. She is love and will be greatly missed but always in out hearts and minds.
Karen was a gypsy at heart, she loved to travel, meet new people and see new places. She loved to do crafts and often gave her creations to family as gifts. Karen's greatest joy in life was her family, including the friends she considered to be family. She had a generous heart and a compassionate spirit. Her most special of joys was her precious grandchildren, she had no favorites, they are all the apple of her eye. Karen enjoyed being outdoors, especially with a fishing pole in hand, a fire to sit around, and a camper to spend the night in with those she loved. She always tried to look on the positive side of life and give every one a smile with a good joke or a kind word.

HUMBOLDT - Karen K. Draves, 57, originally of Webster City, passed away January 12, 2014 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Memorial Services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
