Loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and Friend

Diane Joan Mrazek, the daughter of Keith Ellis "Bud" and Lois Mae (Packard) McCurry, was born November 16, 1943, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Renwick, graduating from Boone Valley High School in 1961. On June 30, 1962, Diane was united in marriage with Richard E. Mrazek at her parent's home in Renwick. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove. Diane was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove and card club. She was a daycare provider for over 47 years.

Diane passed on Friday, January 3, 2014, at her home, at the age of 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard on February 22, 1995; father, Keith in 2001; mother, Lois in 2003; nephew, Shawn Frank in 1994 and brother, Scott McCurry in 2012. Survivors include her four children: Kelly Jorgensen and husband Curt of Eagle Grove, Tony Mrazek and wife Diane of Granger, Tracy Steele and husband Kenny of Goldfield and Kory Mrazek and wife Nicky of Eagle Grove; 14 grandchildren: Alisha, Tioni, Ashley, Brittany, Austin, Thomas, Megan, Natasha, Cassie, Madison, Ahnika, Shawn, Jazmyn and Brody; 10 great-grandchildren: Kearra, Paige, Keegan, Keyenna, Braxton, Chloe, Calli, Myah, Tyson and Taytum; four sisters: Donna Frank and husband Don of Fridley, MN, Darlene "Toby" Solis of Eagle Grove, Deb Smith and husband Mike of Brooklyn Park, MN and Darcy Sisson and husband Kenny of Eagle Grove; sister-in-law, Ellen McCurry of Eagle Grove and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove with Iowa Hospice Chaplain Kerin Lang and Pastor Mike Agnew officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
