EARLY - The Sac County Sheriff's Office has identified the two men who were killed in a minivan rollover early Friday morning west of Early. The minivan's driver, Ignacio Zuleta-Soto, 43, and back seat passenger, Jeronimo Piox-Zuleta, 30, both died in the accident on U.S. Highway 20, about half a mile west of Jackson Avenue, which is just west of Early. Sac County Sheriff Ken McClure said Zuleta-Soto lost control of the minivan, causing it to go into the median. The van rolled, which caused Piox-Zuleta to be ejected from the van. McClure said Piox-Zuleta wasn't wearing a seat belt. The front seat passenger, Gabino Piox-Zuleta, 23, was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake before being transferred to Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City. He has since been released from the hospital, according to McClure. The Piox-Zuletas were brothers, and Zuleta-Soto was their uncle. The three men, who were originally from Guatemala, were living in Eagle Grove and were driving to Sioux City for their jobs as insulators at a construction site. Zuleta-Soto and Jeronimo Piox-Zuleta each leave behind a wife and children in Guatemala.
